Personal information is only collected from you subscribe to our mailing list or enter any competitions/promotions hosted by Yimby/Wolter Consulting Group

Communicate with you: the personal information you provide assists us in sending you marketing communications about the Yimby movement/Wolter Consulting Group. Monitor website traffic: non-personal information we collected is used to analyse website traffic so we can improve the user experience for you and provide more engaging content.

How can I manage or delete information about me?

Information associated with you is kept until you unsubscribe from our mailing list or we no longer need your data. There is a function at the bottom of all Yimby/Wolter Consulting Group promotional emails to unsubscribe at any time.

How is this information shared?

The information you provide is not shared with any other parties unless specifically agreed to by you when entering competitions or contributing to our blog and social media..

How do we respond to legal requests or prevent harm?

We will respond to requests made regarding personal information we hold about you in a reasonable time frame. Before complying with the request we reserve the right to confirm the identity of the person seeking access or changes to the information.

When a change is made to our privacy policy we will provide notification of a change happening and outline what they are.

All conversations and posts should be constructive, respectful, and contain language that is appropriate for all groups and ages. We therefore reserve the right to remove comments that contain:

• Hate speech,
• Profanity, indecency, obscenity or vulgarity,
• Nudity in profile pictures,
• Defamation to a person or people,
• Threats or Personal attacks of any kind,
• Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product,
• Comments that infringe on copyrights,
• Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile,
• Other comments that the YIMBY Qld Social Media team deems inappropriate.

Comments that do not adhere to the above guidelines will, without exception, be removed. In cases of repeat offenses, we will take action to block offenders from the page. 

We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away, and we are trusting in the maturity of our community to ignore personal attacks and negative speech or respond politely.
